If you're an active believer, you have probably faced a situation or two that have been just plain hard.
It looks like this – someone shares something they are going through with you, and you listen and care. Maybe you give some advice, maybe you aren’t sure what to do, but you offer a caring heart. They feel seen. You feel like you were there for them.
Then it happens again. It feels a little like déjà vu.
Somehow you see them again, and they share again, and you listen again, but it’s the same stuff. Again, they feel better. They feel seen, and you feel like you were there for them.
When it happens three+ times, you start to wonder - am I really helping them, or are they just feeling better in the moment, with no actual change happening?
Maybe you start to avoid them.
Maybe you can’t understand what they really want from you.
Maybe you don’t know why they aren’t listening to advice.
Those are the typical responses to conversations that aren’t going anywhere: avoidance, confusion, and frustration.
There’s another option that offers a quantum leap of inspiration, intrigue, hope, and even discipleship!
People share stuff with you because they feel stuck, and they see you as reliable. They may not be able to label their situations as “stuck” but that’s exactly where they are. They don’t know what to do about a financial situation, a marital struggle, parenting concerns, dealing with aging parents, and more…
Coaching Culture gives you a framework to offer traction.
Traction is what someone has when they are not stuck. It’s hope for change.
Before coach training, when people shared with me, I toggled between wondering what they thought I could do about it and why they weren’t at least trying something.
Coaching Culture empowers people like you who care with actionable skills. It offers a pathway to come alongside others to encourage them to take steps on their own journey to resolution. It brings hope to both you and the other person.
If you could use some help toward productive conversations, Coach Training can get you there.
We are now offering what we are calling “Coach Training Lite”. Classes begin in early October. We offer daytime or evening options, and it's never been this affordable.

Maybe it’s you who is actually stuck. This class includes personal tools, too!
