Meet Cindy: Curiosity led the way!

Cindy and I first met on the phone when I answered her inquiry email. Her coach training journey began when she simply followed her curiosity and considered how she could help others.

Her answers tell the story!

How did you become interested in Coach Training?

What began as mentoring a younger individual who needed space to process emotions and situations awakened a deep awareness of my influence on others. It stirred in me a desire to become my best self.

I began asking: How can I offer perspective without getting in the way of her journey? How can I honor both her truth and mine when our views differ, yet still move forward with integrity?

Coach training helped me understand and differentiate between those roles—learning how to truly come alongside another person with presence, curiosity, and respect.

What did you like best about the training itself?

Engaging. Personable. The facilitators didn’t just teach coaching principles—they modeled them. Their authenticity and skill brought the learning to life.

How/where have you used your coach training since certification?

Daily. It might sound cliché, but it’s true. Once you’ve learned to see through a coach’s lens, every interaction becomes more purposeful. (I love this so much and it is so true!)

Circumstances and facts may remain the same—but our feelings and responses don’t have to stay stagnant. I’ve discovered that even in unchanging situations, new opportunities emerge when my mindset is renewed. I’ve learned that I do have a choice.

Beyond this training, I’ve also pursued health and wellness lifestyle training through Harvard Medical School. Meeting people from around the world who share a passion for guiding others has been a privilege. Mutual respect and shared learning created an environment rich with growth and encouragement.

Facilitating a Coaching Culture class has also been one of the great joys in my life. [Cindy now facilitates a coach training class at her church.*]

Who could benefit from coach training?

Everyone. (How about you?!)

Anything else you’d like to share?

Coach training is one of the most loving things you can do for yourself and others. It’s an act of self-compassion.

Sometimes, we rush to help others with what’s in front of them—but have we been invited into that space? Our intentions may be good, yet true growth happens when each person takes responsibility for their own life, emotions, and actions—at their own pace.

This training helps you navigate that process with hopeful clarity and healthy engagement.

Come. Join us. Take a class.

Discover how your influence can create an environment of growth for others—and for yourself.

If you think you need to have all the answers, you’ll be surprised.
